PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT: GBN Twist Lock
Allen Field is re-introducing the GBN-28, an innovative closure clip better known as the Twist Lock. With an improved assembly process, the GBN-28 is designed to snap into die-cuts for easy installation and work with corrugated or plastic cases. The new GBN Twist Lock connects and twists into place to secure the case or folder with a tighter fit, preventing accidental disengagements.

CASE STUDY: Smooth Sourcing with Allen Field
A proprietary OEM customer made several attempts to manufacture some components in China, but kept running into problems. On each attempt, the products weren`t manufactured to the customer`s required specification. The items that were repeatedly submitted for approval weren`t dimensionally sound and the material wasn`t correct, causing the part to fail industry standards.

At this point, the OEM consulted with Allen Field. Having purchased plastic handles from us for years, the customer felt confident in our efforts and decided to have us source/manufacture these products.
