Allen Field readies for the Sustainable Packaging Symposium this week

We’ll be plenty excited at Allen Field today because tomorrow is a big day—the start of the second annual Sustainable Packaging Symposium, which runs Tuesday through Thursday in Houston. The event is co-produced by Greener Package and AIChE (a technological community for the American Institute of Chemical Engineers) and pairs custom packaging design professionals who are seeking practical solutions with engineers and scientists who are experienced in sustainability.

Presentations this year will discuss a variety of issues important to business owners and retailers, including reducing waste, optimized packaging, key attributions of sustainable packaging, data and analytical measurement, and tools and technologies.
